Mark Cuban surrenders!
All I can say is WOW! Those are some pretty positive statement
regarding the NBA. They are also very conciliatory and sound much like
a man who has given up. He has simply become very agreeable.
I like the old Mark Cuban. I liked the guy who challenged the
establishment. I liked the guy who always tried to make things better.
And I for one have a hard time believing that currently everything the
NBA is doing is better.
No. It is more like Mark Cuban has just decided to get along and
play nice with the other 29 team owners and the league brass. I think
that the near $1.5 million in fines has had an impact. I think that
enough is enough. Even a billionaire does not want to torch $1.5
million which is really $3 million if you add the matching charitable
contributions.
I think they fined all the fight out of his very soul. And I for one
am depressed. I am a lot like Mark Cuban. I am always fighting against the
establishment. I think that everyone should. What has the
establishment ever done that was really good? It only benefits those
that are established. It is only good for those on the inside. Which
is why this is the worst possible case.
Mark Cuban did not need to surrender to the establishment. He could
have bought the entire NBA and become the establishment. He could have
continued to challenge and stir it up. I guess he just realized it is a battle that he can't win. And one should never fight a
battle that you can't win. It is a waste of resources.
Me, I am going to keep on fighting. It is in my very soul. I
just can't surrender. It is against every fiber in my body. Unlike
Mark Cuban I am not afraid of losing a battle. It is the WAR that I am
not going to lose.
So Mark if you want to get some spirit back you can call me
(702-253-0415). I will give you a pep-talk and remind you of your
glory days. I will get you motivated. I will get you moving forward
again and then it is they who will surrender.
